1. Academic study Ten hours each week will be devoted to classroom teaching in subjects which are specifically chosen to establish students in their Christian life and to equip them for ministry. It is our goal that students grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Bible, and grow in their ability to communicate Biblical truth to others. (See Courses) 3. Internship Each student will serve as an intern (praktikant) during the entire year in one of Acts' partner churches in Stockholm. (For a list of partner churches see About us) Internship will typically entail 10 hours of service each week. We want students' internship experience to include some "pioneering" aspect which will help them grow in their ability to contribute to the development of ministries and the planting and development of new churches. | 2. Spiritual formation Students will spend time each week together as a group in prayer, worship and personal ministry to one another. It is our goal that students grow in spirit and in truth. Students will receive help in developing a regular personal routine of prayer and Bible reading. 4. Mentorship Each student will have a personal mentor/coach. Your mentor/coach will be an experienced leader from one of Acts' partnering churches or one of Acts' teachers. It is our desire that the mentor relationship will help and challenge each student towards personal growth in character and ministry, provide healthy feedback and accountability, and provide the support and encouragement needed from a more experienced sister or brother in Christ. |
